A Nature Walk Around the Copernican Integration Centre (KOI) for the local community of Toruń and the academic community - students, doctoral students and employees of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. Join!
Take part in a nature walk around one of Toruń's most unique landmarks – the Copernican Integration Centre (KOI). KOI, also commonly known as the "Moomin House" will serve as the starting point for a story about our relationship with nature.
The walk will lead through forest and dune areas, where participants will learn about the forest ecosystem and the role of water in shaping this part of the city. The story will cover the history of the building, which was formerly a municipal waterworks facility and now serves as a social and integration center.
The walk will be led by Anna Lamers, a social activist and tour guide who serves on the Toruń City Tourism Council.
Participation is free, but a ticket is required. Tickets can be picked up at the Copernican Integration Centre office from January 8th to 16th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Limited places are available.
