We are pleased to inform that our faculty members participated in the preparation of the “Food Tourism Sub-strategy”, a key document for the development of food tourism in Poland.

In the analytical part of the document (Food Tourism Sub-strategy, Part I – Analytical) concerning wine tourism – “Potential for the Development of Enotourism in Poland” – the study was prepared by:

  • NCU Prof. Przemysław Charzyński (also Vice-President of PSTK)
  • Dr Katarzyna Korzeń

During the preliminary consultation phase, Dr Olga Smoleńska was also involved. NCU Prof. Przemysław Charzyński additionally served as the internal reviewer of Part II – the “Program” section of the Sub-strategy.

About the Document

The “Food Tourism Sub-strategy” was developed as part of a public task:

“Food Tourism Sub-strategy – an initiative aimed at creating a sectoral development document for food tourism in Poland for the coming years, including an analysis of the current situation and proposals for a vision and strategic directions of development,”
funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism (agreement no. 2025/0013/4916/UDOT/DT/BP/IS, dated 5 June 2025).

The document is a collaborative work of experts, coordinated by Hubert Gonera (Landbrand) and dr hab. Karolina Buczkowska-Gołąbek (President of PSTK, AWF Poznań).

The document is available on the PSTK website:

This represents an important step towards the systematic development of food tourism in Poland, and the involvement of experts from our faculty highlights the significant contribution of WNoZiGP academic staff in shaping the sector’s development and promoting culinary education and enotourism across the country.
