On 23–26 April, Mendel University in Brno is hosting the kick-off meeting of the project Soil Education Through Tourism Initiatives – SETTI V4, supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

Partners from Mendel University in Brno, University of Prešov, University of Debrecen and Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń are launching joint activities to develop soil tourism as a tool for education and public engagement.

NCU is represented by Przemysław Charzyński, Marcin Świtoniak and Anastazja Wasilewska.

During the meeting, we are working on research methodology, surveys and field assessment of educational trails and expositions in protected areas in South Moravia, with a special focus on the visibility and quality of soil-related information.
