In recent weeks, a monograph Lexicon of cycling policy has been published, whose authors are: Michał Kwiatkowski, an employee of the Department of Urban and Regional Development Studies and Łukasz Karbowiński, representing the City of Rybnik – Rybnik Municipal Services. The book was published by the Scientific Publishing House of the Nicolaus Copernicus University.
Lexicon of cycling policy is a compendium of knowledge about bicycle planning. The authors referred to a number of aspects of cycling in both the transport and recreational dimensions. The book characterizes over 100 issues thematically related to bicycle traffic and the implementation of cycling policy at the local and regional level. The monograph has a wide application dimension, because the subject matter was raised from a practical and scientific perspective.
