W dniach 5-9 czerwca odbyło się 30th Annual Colloquium Commission on the Sustainability of Rural Systems (CSRS) International Geographical Union (IGU). Organizatorem wydarzenia był Uniwersytet Łódzki. Silną reprezentację stanowili pracownicy WNoZiGP, w składzie: dr hab. Justyna Chodkowska-Miszczuk, prof. UMK; prof. dr hab. Roman Rudnicki; dr hab. Paweł Wiśniewski, prof. UMK; dr Mirosław Biczkowski, mgr Paweł Smoliński oraz dr Łukasz Wiśniewski.
Pracownicy WNoZiGP zaprezentowali dwa referaty:
- Social aspects of pro-environmental technologies in Polish suburbs,
- Organic farming in Poland - spatial diversity and growth prospects in the context of the European Green Deal;
oraz dwa postery:
- Perceptions of renewables - a behavioural trigger of rural energy transition in the context of green deal concepts implementation;
- Neo‑colonialism in the Polish rural world: CAP approach and the phenomenon of suitcase farmers.
Ponadto poprowadzili dwie sesje referatowe.
